I was responsible for planning, developing and growing the profitably of paid subscriptions across all 13 titles. Pavilion Publishing produce journals, training materials, conferences and exhibitions for social and health care professionals. I was recruited to manage the re-launch of the magazine Mental Health Today. Netmedia was an Internet incubation company that produced its own websites and ‘start-ups’. I was responsible for assisting with both the online and offline brand and marketing development for the site www.kidsevents.co.uk, working closely with the Marketing and Project Directors. I also researched much of the material for the original database.

Petroleum Argus is a publishing company which produces reports and newsletters for the oil and energy industry. I was responsible for the sale of newsletters to both traders and analysts, researching leads and closing sales. I co-ordinated mail shots and produced sales reports. I was responsible for marketing seven titles throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Working on the advertising section of a local weekly newspaper, The Solihull Journal, required the ability to work to tight deadlines and meet a daily sales target.
