I assisted in coordinating programs focusing on mental health for the South Chicago Neighborhood Network. As part of their 5-year plan, I successfully coordinated and managed an Adult Mental Health Training, Adolescent Mental Health Training, Healing Circle Training, and multiple Coffee Chats. I had the opportunity to serve as the Co-Chair for the Trauma Informed Committee. Together, we developed the Network's first community symposium that brought residents, community members, and other stakeholders in one place to increase education around trauma and its effects on their own mental health and that of others.
