Hi. I’m Clarie, an artist and craft worker living in the UK. My focus is pure abstract, working with paint and a variety of textiles on canvas and other surfaces, including my own handmade paper. I also use photography and computer software in my work. Inspired by nature and buildings, and passionate about colour, shape and texture, I bring these together with excitement. My artistic flair was identified when I was very young. I was awarded a place in a selective school for the arts at the age of eleven years, and have achieved the Diploma in Art and Design studying with the University of Central England. I’ve worked as a professional artist, exhibiting my work yearly and as a Community Arts Worker, creating and delivering arts workshops in the community. Now, I focus on making art and sell it on the internet.
