Qualitative academic researcher and former project officer with experience in the Social Sciences and Organisational Leadership. I have worked on research projects in collaboration with professors from the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University's School of Social Sciences, and most recently worked at the National Institute of Education (Singapore).As a 2022 Japanese Government (MEXT) Research Scholar, I will soon be pursuing my graduate studies at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. I am interested in Japanese culture, queer politics/LGBTQ+ representation in Japan, and managing diversity in the recruitment and retention of foreign professionals in the Japanese labour pool. In addition to these professional interests, I can never turn down a good glass of Oolong-Hai or a Konbini Strawberry Sandwich!
