Support the Buyers and Assistant Buyers on all day-to-day functions for all 14 departments within the Home Gifts division.Monitor on-order and manage weekly receipt flow in DC & Stein Mart stores.Request and manage samples for product selection and meetings.Responsible for generating, maintaining and following through on all Purchase Orders. Communicate daily with vendors and internal partners to maintain positive working relationships to achieve sales/margin goals.

The Merchandising area consists of Buying, Planning, Allocation and Data Support teams responsible for identifying new fashion trends, developing vendor relationships, selecting and buying merchandise, determining promotional and pricing strategies, developing sales and stock plans, allocating merchandise to stores, evaluating store performance levels and managing inventories, and contributing to strategic and seasonal planning.Run MicroStrategy reports as needed and utilize SharePoint site for various reporting functionsUtilized retail math skills during daily processes in order to achieve financial informationWork in various local stores to enhance knowledge of front and back end procedures, markdowns, store aesthetics, and inventoryPhilanthropy projects supporting the Stein Mart’s Family Support Foundation

Responsible for executing and maintaining the stores visual presentation across all forms, fixtures, walls, store graphics and signing to deliver a clean, crisp, and designed shopping experience for our customers.Works closely with Store Leader, Merchandise Execution Leader and Team Leads to discuss, plan and organize store projects relating to layout design of all departments. Partner with the Department Leads and Support Specialists as merchandise hits the floor in-between monthly sets to insure company standards
