To work with the doctors and staff to provide excellent care for the patients. As an Optician I am responsible for styling, fixing, and selling glasses. I work with insurance quite a bit, as well as calculating numbers. Excellent customer service is very important in my line of work, regardless of the situation. Listening to the problems that the patients bring to me is imperative and then I must problem solve for them.Keeping up to date on the newest technology is key to being a well-rounded Optician and thus being able to educate my patients on the products that are best for their health and vision.

As a server my primary responsibilities were providing a wonderful dining experience for all of my guests. It was very important for me to be able to communicate to them and be able to listen to what they wanted. I learned how to anticipate needs and to understand what guests wanted, even if they didn't specifically convey that to me verbally. I improved my skills of multi-tasking and time management through juggling multiple tables at a time, yet doing so gracefully with the appearance of calmness.As an Expeditor, I was in charge of orchestrating the kitchen. I was responsible for all of the food that came out of the kitchen making sure that it was hot, correct, and that it went to the right tables. As an expo I was a mediator between the servers and chef, and was the person they came to for problems or questions. I improved my problem-solving skills as well, having to take figure out the issues as much as I could without getting management involved. My attitude had to be positive and upbeat because I set the mood for a lot of the staff due to being positioned in the heartbeat of the restaurant.
