Media and communications specialist with over 20 years in digital and print storytelling, 8 years in brand communications and media relations, regional journalism experience (was once based in China), roots in the cultural sector and interest in social and policy issues. I enjoy leading and working in multi-disciplinary teams to create experiences, drive conversations and tell stories across formats such as videos, conferences, serialised podcasts, interactive microsites and exhibitions. Since 2016, I've overseen corporate communications and editorial content for Singapore's national performing arts centre, Esplanade. This includes fielding media interviews and preparing talking points for staff, developing social media strategies, writing brand narratives and copy, as well as building up a content platform for the arts in Singapore and Asia, Esplanade Offstage. To achieve what we set out to do, I work across departments within the organisation and with external partners, while guiding and looking out for career development opportunities for my team. As a writer, I've authored a book on Singapore theatre and contribute regularly to Asia-Pacific media and publications.
