Presented on various government-funded productivity grants to a total of over 300 private entities at various platforms, including massive outreaches as well as one-on-one engagements. Developed and submitted numerous proposals for applications of the grants for the entities and subsequently administered the grants to the entities. Established close working relationships with many private entities and the respective unions within the Human Resources, Security, Waste Management, Waste Recycling and Landscape sectors, to understand about their manpower, training and productivity needs. Conceived several customised training programmes for companies, in response to their manpower and training requirements. Led in the construction of the framework, application procedures, essential paperwork as well as marketing collaterals for a government-funded grant launched by the union. Led a team of 13 in organising and executing a Ministerial level seminar to launch the grant, which was attended by the public, several cabinet ministers, government agencies and the media.

I have always enjoyed working with my hands so when the opportunity came, I decided to work at an artisan bakery, opened by a skilful baker. In my part-time stint at the bakery, I was exposed to the techniques and skills of artisan bread making, customised cake baking and croissant rolling. I also learnt much about artisan bread, cake and croissant display for counter sales, which made a difference to the sales figures each day. Each work day gave me the opportunity to perfect my kneading and rolling techniques as I work with bread dough, and slicing skills as I immaculately slice cakes for counter displays and purchased bread for customers. I particularly enjoy interacting with the customers as I answer their many questions about the different types of bread, cakes, flavours, and shelf lives.

Worked closely with the Creative Industries, specifically the Games, Animation, and the Arts and Culture sectors in Singapore, to understand their manpower and training needs. Developed proposals for channeling of government funds toward supporting certifiable training programmes for mid-career switches and professionals in the Creative Industries. Administered the training funds to the approved training providers.
