I have more than five years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in law, including legal analysis, research and writing, as well as the competencies, the legal skills and academic background. I also have considerable experience in advising UN officials on complex and operational legal issues, fluently speak French, Kiswahili and English.In the Legal Affairs Office, I played a central role in the handling of claims in accordance with the administrative instruction ST/AI/2000/12 on private legal obligations and the creation of templates to streamline the claims workflow. I have also assisted in the provision of advice on the application of Congolese law (including in the areas of family law, criminal law, land law and mining law). During passed years, I have also been helpful in handling mission members' arrests, securing their release in accordance with the provisions of the status of forces agreement and defending the mission's privileges and immunities related to these situations. I finally assisted in the preparation and review of a diverse array of written outputs from notes verbales, memoranda of understanding and correspondence also the drafting of briefing notes to senior mission leadership.Outside the UN, since 2013 I have worked first as a lawyer in a large law firm; Here I was specialized in the drafting of pleading notes as well as all the files to plead in the commercial court; I was a consultant in several international organizations as a lawyer-researcher; I also worked for the Government of the DRC within the Ministry of Defense. Within my last positions, I had to coordinate multiple partnerships with internal and external partners. I contributed to the formulation, management and implementation of different programme activities in line with my Employers Strategic Plan, within different civil associations I developed strong ability in forging strong alliances with academia, governmental institutions and other national, and international partners who support the resilience programme of the WFP. My experience with international organizations (including MONUSCO, DtS/USAID, IMC, SuissContact, Human Right Watch etc.) has allowed me to acquire all the knowledge and skills. I have developed many legal skills such as drafting legal advice, IOMs, advising clients, working with Staff Regulations and Rules, UN AI, SGB, etc; I have a very good ability to defend the SOFA and other international legal instruments.
