With more than four years of directing the financial operations of the American Health Law Association (AHLA), the largest educational organization devoted to legal issues in the health care field, I have demonstrated my expertise and leadership in nonprofit association accounting and finance. I hold a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and several certifications in finance and strategic planning.In my current role, I oversee the internal systems and external vendors that support the association's accounting functions, as well as provide financial guidance to leadership. I work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to manage the annual budget process and investment portfolio and key financial initiatives and reporting. I am passionate about applying my analytical skills and financial process improvement expertise to optimize the financial performance and sustainability of the association. I am also a former Division II collegiate tennis athlete and a recipient of multiple honors and awards.
