Worked as the Project Manager on more than 85 fixed rate projects to include large ShoreTel VOIP phone system installations and enterprise level network equipment implementations generated by the sales team at our Bakersfield and Culver City offices. Responsibilities included conducting onsite discovery meetings with clients, creating project scope of work with detailed client responsibilities, outline workflow breakdown structure and project specific milestones, assessing risk, review and approval of both network and call flow diagrams, working closely with client IT resources and our outside vendors for successful project completion, scheduling engineers for equipment pre-configuration and installation, creating and providing client with agenda and testing plans for configuration and installation phases, coordination with carriers on various voice and data circuit installations and turn-ups, secure progress payments upon hardware delivery, identifying and managing the resolution of post-installation issues, preparing extensive closing documentation, and conducting project closure meetings.

Was responsible for the vision, management, policy, schedules, and structure of 13 large departments broken down into 47 teams. Teams managed on campus during the 4 services to include Parking, Patrols, Dispatch, Shuttles, Campus Care, Ushers, Greeters, Sanctuary Security, Open/Close, Deacons, Patio Setup, and Link. Designed and facilitated monthly leadership training seminars and an extensive adult education series at the Bakersfield and Las Vegas locations. Additionally, I was responsible for overseeing the paid janitorial, maintenance, and security staff, as well as working with outside contractors. Experienced with vision casting, team building, coordinating shifts and responsibilities, leading multiple teams over a variety of simultaneous campus and community projects, and speaking to large and small groups of individuals in a variety of settings and locations. While in this position, I assisted in tripling the volunteer staff to prepare for the move from a 1500 seat sanctuary to a 3400 seat sanctuary with additional services, expand teams and systems to accommodate a growing campus, implement several new ministries to greater integrate attendees into the core membership, and improve operations overall.I was blessed to work with a wonderful full-time and volunteer staff while I was at VBF, to whom belongs the credit for anything lasting that I might have accomplished while on staff.
