I am a passionate and driven Data Science student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a strong foundation in economics, statistics, and advanced calculus. My academic journey is complemented by hands-on experience in the fields of finance, big data, and software development. I've had the opportunity to intern at leading organizations like China CITIC Bank and OPPO Mobile Telecommunications, where I honed my skills in data analysis, financial advising, and strategic planning.At China CITIC Bank, I enhanced operational efficiency during key events and provided personalized financial advice to a diverse clientele. My role as a CITIC Bank Ambassador allowed me to collaborate on projects that bridged the gap between international students and personalized banking solutions.During my internship at OPPO, I served as a Chief Specialist on the OPPO Big Data Platform (EAP), leading efforts in data visualization and warehouse optimization. My contributions significantly reduced processing times and advanced OPPO's international database operations.Beyond my professional experiences, I'm deeply involved in the UCSB community. As a Lead Coordinator for UCSB Finance Connection, I've spearheaded initiatives to create a supportive environment for finance majors and organized events that connect students with industry professionals. In my role with UCSB Data Science, I've played a key part in the club's growth, organizing events and increasing membership by over 500%. Additionally, my efforts in Coders SB have strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration across various departments, fostering a vibrant coding community.I'm proficient in Python, SQL, and a range of technical tools, with a strong interest in public speaking, debate, and filmmaking. My diverse skill set and passion for learning continue to drive me as I prepare for a career at the intersection of data science and finance.
