FRAG is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential support, resources, and assistance to first responders and Veterans across the nation. The Independence Fund is committed to serving the Warfighter Community by providing innovative programs and services to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual independence of our servicemembers, combat Veterans, their Caregivers, families, and those Allies who served in combat alongside our troops, through innovative mobility and adaptive technologies and therapies for combat Veterans; suicide prevention; caregiver and family support; and Veteran advocacy with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, other government agencies, federal and state legislators, and other partners.

Police Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), managing the investigative units for the agency. Within CID are the Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators and Victim Services Units. As the Commander I manage the budgets and the operations of all major criminal investigations including sex offenses and homicides. Providing overall direction and guidance from an executive level.Holding additional responsibility as the department's PIO, I work closely with the local, state, and national media within and around the Baltimore/ DC region.

Supervised and managed patrol operations, 24 hours a day for the Frederick Police Department. As a secondary duty served as the Public Information Officer (PIO). I coordinated, released, and conducted media press conferences and interviews as it relates to public safety and public safety outreach programs.

Supervised the entry level training academy and acted as primary instructor for the Frederick Police Department's Police Academy. Supervised and coordinated the instruction provided to 4 entry level academies consisting of multiple local agencies within Maryland. As the supervisor of the division my responsibilities included the oversight of continuous education credits for for 145 sworn members of the department and approximately 45 civilians.As a trained police negotiator I was a member of the agencies Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) for 5 years. ultimately supervising two teams and coordinating all training and tactical operations, reporting directly to the Operations Commander or Special Operations Division Commander during critical incidents.
