Represent clients in a broad range of intellectual property and patent matters, including counseling, prosecution, licensing, transactions, and litigation.

- Performed all aspects of intellectual property counseling, including litigation, prosecution, licensing, and transactional counseling.- Participated in litigation in federal district courts, the Ninth and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, the International Trade Commission and before the USPTO. - Performed patent and trademark prosecution before the USPTO for a broad spectrum of goods, services, and technologies, including software, mechanical engineering, medical devices, chemistry and semiconductor materials.- Evaluated, negotiated, and drafted intellectual property agreements including licensing agreements, partnering agreements, services agreements and development agreements.- Evaluated and counseled clients regarding use of limited startup resources in the procurement and enforcement of intellectual property, entering intellectual property agreements, licensing intellectual property, and evaluating business strategy positions, including by preparing freedom to operate and infringement analyses.

- Selected as one of two Lisa Fellows working with the Steve Lisa Group and AzTE to help identify, prosecute and license patents obtained on Arizona State University’s most commercially significant inventions. - Reviewed and analyzed the inventions, prepared and filed patent applications, helped formulate and initiate licensing and enforcement programs and helped develop faculty inventor education program.
