Deployed for one year to provide professionalism, military training and education to a fast growing military unit.-Supervised an advisor team in preparation, organization and execution of training programs and initiatives for a foreign military.-Ensured appropriate conduct, training, and development of team members.-Monitored all team efforts to ensure members are working within U.S. Security Cooperation guidelines and regulations.-Served as the primary Advisor for all officers (specifically the Group Commanding Officer), Presidential Guard Marine Group, United Arab Emirates, responsible for advising, mentoring, training and partnering with the Presidential Guard Marines at all command levels.-Trained Host Nation (HN) military and security force personnel leadership and infantry tactics, techniques and procedures.-Established and maintained professional rapport with HN military counterparts in order to strengthen the relationship between the USMC and partner nation..-Served as the key liaison between the Presidential Guard Marines and all US forces for over 11 months, to include a key 30 day overseas deployment to Unit Enhancement Training at 29 Palms, Ca.-Worked in close partnership with 1 Emirati Colonel, 1 Emirati Lieutenant Colonel, 4 Emirati Majors and dozens of Company grade Emirati’s on leadership development, operational staff planning, combat mindset and tactical employment of troops.-Led the staff development effort for the key officers on a Regimental level staff, which involved individual mentorship, classroom instruction and application during all training programs.-Supervised the development and execution of 500+ hours of training and evaluation including, amphibious operations, heliborne operations, combat marksmanship, NCO development, land navigation, MOUT, and fireteam to company tactics.

Operations and Executive Officer in charge of all entry level marksmanship and combat training.-Coordinated and supervised the execution of portions of the recruit training curriculum related to marksmanship and field skills.-Coordinated and supervised the execution of the curriculum for training MOS 8530 and 8531Combat Marksmanship Coaches and Combat Marksmanship Trainers (formerly Primary Marksmanship Instructors).-Coordinated range control operations to ensure uninterrupted marksmanship training of over 18,000 recruits, reservists, and active duty Marines.-Supervised and coordinated support for over 7,000 personnel during more than 200 VIP, media, ROTC, JROTC, Educator Workshop visits and training requests.-Wrote and planned the restructuring of Phase II of Recruit Training in order to provide better marksmanship (both qualification and combat) and field training.

Led Infantry Marines from the platoon to company level, with stops in the reconnaissance and intelligence communities. Training and combat deployments from the former Yugoslavia, multiple African countries and numerous Asian countries. Extensive experience training US and foreign forces, in addition to participating and writing numerous multi-national exercises.

Conducted Entry Level SOF Training via a seven month physically and mentally demanding course, while also providing leadership and guidance for five Advanced Special Operations Courses. Built a solid team from the ground up, starting with 37 instructors and growing to 141 instructors when I left.
