Analyzed software development team interactions and incorporated support to these observed interaction patterns for use in thecreation of a novel collaborative development environment. After researching and testing issues related to voice controlled interfaces within vehicles our 4 person team created a multi-modal prototype for Blue Octane, a project sponsored by the IBM Pervasive Computing department. Blue Octane is a system for offering location based service inside a vehicle through voice and a computer screen interface positioned in the dashboard of a car.
