I enjoy representing clients in administrative and judicial appeals on the leading issues in state and local tax, in addition to working with clients on a broad range of multistate tax compliance issues. Because I've spent time in Alston & Bird's Atlanta and Los Angeles offices, I've developed deep experience and familiarity with the laws, administrative fora, and courts on both coasts. In addition to a continual drive to improve the sophistication and depth of my substantive expertise, I focus on being highly responsive, and I always seek to communicate with clients and opposing counsel in keeping with the high standards of professionalism and ethics for which Alston & Bird is known.I've also been published or quoted in Tax Notes State, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Law360, Forbes, Wired, and the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives. When I'm not working, I enjoy swimming, basketball, reading, and live music.
