The Executive leadership Team (ELT) had no clear visibility of vacancies across the organisation, production had been impacted due to labour supply issues and this was a key issue for the CEO & board.Achievements•Successfully building an internal recruitment function to support the growth of Whitehaven Coal through the COVID-19 pandemic•Onboarded and developed a team of 6 specialist recruiters and support staff delivering 280+ hires per year •Reducing time to fill from more than 70 business days to 39 during the pandemic•Reducing agency spend by 95% and overall recruitment costs by $1.3M in first 12 months•Implementation of the Whitehaven Haul Truck Traineeship which reduced turnover by 90% on the previous program and reduced the time to be operational by 50% by attracting a higher quality trainee•Implementation and rollout of Ceridan Dayforce HRIS which took Whitehaven from using paper forms and Excel to manage the employee lifecycle•Achieved 23% female hires in years 1 & 2 well above the 12% female participation at Whitehaven •Transitioned 200+ labour hire employees to Whitehaven permanent employment in 2 years

In this role, Clark manages and coordinates delivery of the full range of transition and mobilisation activities such as recruiting and deploying the mobilisation team, transition project P&L management, team leadership and management and senior stakeholder management and reportingClark develops and refines mobilisation tools, processes and procedures to continuously improve delivery and cost savings and provides strategic advice to the wider Skout business around client solutions and opportunities to reduce cost and improve service delivery. Clark provides innovative solutions to help clients manage their workforce, facilitate strategy workshops or establish assessment centres to make transitions and mobilisations a success.Some recent contract transitions and mobilisations include:• Parklea Correctional Centre – Overall mobilisation management of 420 hires including transition of existing workforce, additional staff and 120 new trainees in two intakes.
