CurrentDirectly responsible for enterprise wide IT strategy and, end-to-end IT operations for a a publicly traded financial institution with $7.0B in total assets.- Coached and mentored a team of 18 direct and indirect reports which oversaw all IT operations for the organization.- Managed the entire IT annual budget of $6M with <3% variance.- Outspoken proponent for digital transformation that collaborated with the executive management team and Board of Directors to align the corporate and IT strategies.- Revamped policies and procedures to remediate major IT deficient raised by federal regulators from previous management and oversaw them to resolution resulting in clean audits the past 5 years.- Introduced and executed a 3 year cloud migration strategy to eliminate on-premise data centers, reduce organizational risk and increase IT offerings to business lines all while staying cost neutral and avoiding future spend.- Successfully executed the IT portion of the Disaster Recovery Plan in response to COVID-19 that allowed >95% of workforce to successfully work from home with no impact on business line performance.- Modernized the MDM solution which ensured the security of corporate data on over 400 personally owned devices allowing for a more mobile and productive workforce.- Converted the company’s Microsoft Licensing from an unpredictable Capital Expense heavy model to a predictable Operational Expense model that normalized IT spend year over year.- Worked closely with the CISO to develop, implement and run a vulnerability management program that reduced outstanding vulnerabilities from over 20K to less than 10 in 2 years.- Assisted the CISO and CIO with baselining the IT environment security controls with the CIS SANS Top 18 and created actionable plans to close the gaps and report progress to the Board.
