I have designed and led customized adult learning for over 200 administrators, teachers, and staff, based on their individual professional growth goals, using in-person trainings and Canvas LMS; I consistently had participants report a high satisfaction rate in the value of the trainings. I have provided individual coaching to teachers, based on school and division strategic goals, to identify areas of instructional practice they wanted to improve; I then planned lessons and modeled or co-taught with them using new tools and strategies to guide them in learning new teaching practices. I have collaborated weekly with grade-level teams and instructional coaches to identify learning targets, design assessments, plan lessons with differentiation for specific learner needs, and select the best instructional resources to help all students achieve mastery of content. I have served on our school leadership team to monitor students’ progress towards hitting measures of academic growth and identify what instructional interventions needed to be put in place when students were not hitting growth goals. I was selected by my peers to serve on the ITC Leadership Council to work with our manager to develop long-term strategic plans for our team of 40 ITCs.

I led professional learning for 200 administrators, instructional designers, and educators at six Virginia EdTech conferences on instructional best practices in learner assessments, using data to inform instruction, project-based learning, and creation tools e.g. Canva and WeVideo. I facilitated the transition of over 300 educators to teaching online during COVID, including leading online professional development, creating user guides and instructional resources, providing coaching and extensive troubleshooting, and collaborating with decisionmakers to create clear educational policies, using Canvas, Canva, Nearpod, Google G Suite, WeVideo, Padlet, Brainpop, Flocabulary, Quizizz, Quizlet, Kahoot, Flipgrid, and other tools. I was selected to help open a new STEM elementary school, serving over 500 learners. I served on a Request for Proposal committee to select new LMS and helped oversee division-wide transition from Blackboard to Canvas.

I am working with current students and alumni of the Year Up program to help them find the job they want or get them on a higher-education pathway. I also work with alumni engagement to help our alumni stay engaged with the Year Up community through mentoring and volunteering, social events, and continued professional development.
