I work with a team of brilliant and humble individuals. I am very lucky to be here.Started with the Performance Marketing team, moved to the Transactional team. I work with ad products and services, for our popular brands. I focus mostly on the frontend, but do touch Java when the ask is there.There are a lot of moving parts with a lot of neat proprietary software. I'm always learning something new.Tech jargon and buzzwords include Javascript, Java, XML, JSON, Freemarker, Gradle/Maven, and Jetty.We utilize several frontend libaries/frameworks dependent on the vertical/team, using Grunt/Gulp as task runners. but follow BEM naming conventions utilizing SCSS.

At Flywheel I was tasked with learning and working with Typescript, SaSS (BEM), and Native JavaScript Web Components (using Lit and the shadow DOM) for their enterprise web-application. Focused on bugfixes adding features. A major feature I worked on alone was a SQL Models feature using CodeMirror while under the scrutiny of our own styleguide. I also did minor Ruby on Rails work (endpoint logic), but had backend assistance otherwise.

I started working with the Partnertech team in Product Development, focusing on features in our applications for our partner's problems. My team's focus shifted on me working on a variety of features with our main Keap and Infusionsoft applications, where we work towards making life easier for entrepreneurs and small businesses.I focus on quality and a solid product with the help from the best team I've ever had in my career. My current manager, tech lead, frontend lead, and teammates are all empathic, brilliant, and humble individuals. The culture here has been the perfect fit, there are extremely brilliant individuals way beyond me in the scope of knowledge and talent. I have no desire to leave. My forte is JavaScript, but we touched all things (Java, Groovy, GCS, AWS, Elastisearch,) on my team,. We wrote a lot of tests (initially in mocha/chai, but now moved to Jest). I also assisted with moving our application into a mono-repo.Mid-way through my career at Keap, I was moved onto the Frontend Platform team where I worked with a brilliant front end architect. Together we built out the new side-navigation to improve the app's information architecture and user experience. We also worked on the design system, a place for the company to use and re-use lego building blocks.At the end of my tenure, I was laid off with dozens of other employees, to go out into the wild and find a new home. While sad, I loved the opportunities I was given there and am grateful for the mentorship and growth.

I prototype/improve/work on internal tools for the Information Security Cyber Security team. I do lots of fun research and development through emerging and modern technologies such as Polymer's LitElement, Docker, Webpack, and Node.js.

A Java based shop focused on bringing easier to read health information to the world. Currently the fastest growing health information website in the world.I worked on both web and mobile based applications. I have written code for our native web applications, A/B testing, Ionic mobile applications, and also our native android application.As a member of the Healthline Engineering team, I played a role with largely improving the look, feel, and functionality of our web application.Technologies: Java, Javascript, HTML, JQuery, Angularjs (1.x), Gulp, JSP, CSS, LESS, SASS, CVS/Git, Bitbucket.

I taught individuals how to better themselves and the world through technologies such as Xcode, Sublime, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, Grunt, Gulp, Angular, and React.My purpose was to prepare these individuals for both the world of professional development, and to keep them up to date on today's technologies. I aided in curriculum creation and teaching.

I work closely with the founders with planning the curriculum for, as well as, teaching children how to build iOS applications with swift via a week long, fun and interactive, course. I also aid in teaching how to code in Javascript through modifying Minecraft servers through another week long camp. I assist in curriculum planning as well as teaching for several of the courses we are teaching.

Did some work for Dev Bootcamp's coaching program. I worked alongside one of the coaches of Dev Bootcamp and created a Sinatra based application. This application utilizes web hooks from student requests for help, puts them in a queue, and allows the coaches and teachers to keep track of who has had their help requests fulfilled in a suitable amount of time.

An intensive program where I spent over 1000+ hours coding, working with fellow potential engineers, and learning the essentials to be a Rails developer.
