As the dominant software vendor in Europe for this category, SDS is ranked the top global ISV for distributed solar software across non-US markets (GTM Solar Research).I was recruited to lead SDS’s entry into the US market. In response to a concentrated channel landscape, I developed and implemented a GTM strategy that integrated our software with developer teams at strategic partner platforms. This approach gained traction with 66% of our addressable market and resulted in a fivefold increase in revenues. -
Director Of Business DevelopmentYingli Solar 2010 - 2014Baoding, Hebei, CnYingli Americas is a subsidiary of China-based Yingli Solar — the world’s largest solar technology provider from 2012-2013 (NYSE: YGE).I managed business development, deal negotiations, and partnership structuring for our highly strategic “utility sector” business. This included leading contract negotiations for >$500 MM in solar hardware sales and lead responsibility for closing the largest deal in the company’s history (200 MW Centinela Solar facility in California’s Imperial Valley). These efforts contributed to a 577% increase in unit sales over 3 years in the US market, reaching >$480 MM in annual revenue at its peak.I was also responsible for strategic partnerships and special projects, including a first-of-kind software solution that paired computer modeling with statistical extrapolation to better guarantee product performance. After leading a team of engineers to negotiate this warranty offering in a deal-specific context, I spearheaded a cross-functional effort across our legal, marketing, and finance teams to standardize this product for the broader market. -

Arreon is a leading ‘carbon broker’ for the European Union’s CO2 ‘cap-and-trade’ emissions reduction program.At Arreon, I led market strategy and operational initiatives. On the operational side, I instituted a new contract management workflow system, which allowed enhanced data analytics and portfolio valuation across our existing deal pipeline. In 2018, IHS Markit acquired Ipreo from a Goldman Sachs private equity division for $1.85 billion.I led product management for a new software tool that integrated CRM functionality and data analytics into Ipreo’s legacy SaaS platform. In this role, I conducted use case research, product design, and user testing to develop “Profile Builder” from whiteboard concept to Beta release. From 2008-2009, Profile Builder was Ipreo’s highest growth B2B software product.
