Direct and manage IT operations, infrastructure, and staff including VMware, AWS, and Azure, Linux and Windows, storage SANs, release management, change management, ITIL, on-call and after-hours support (keep things running) for all research IT infrastructure (Research Integrated Network of Systems (RINS)) including SPARC Request, REDCap, Research Master ID (RMID), HSSC eIRB, and others. Establish redundancy and fail-over for critical systems. Demonstrate disaster-recovery readiness.Manage Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) IT infrastructure at Clemson University including the HSSC Federated infrastructure and the electronic institutional review board (eIRB) system. Work as liaison between the IS staff at Clemson and the HSSC staff located in Columbia South Carolina.

I served as a Network Engineer involved in network planning and switch/router management, wireless networking, bandwidth quality of service, and administration of file and print servers. I also served in project management capacities on large jobs requiring vendor contracts. I was familiar with state procurement system and responsible for procuring both regular and capital equipment as well as responsibility for financial reconciliations. I also served in the capacity of incident ticket prioritization and assignments to appropriate staff.
