Leading a team of program managers accountable to deliver all aspects of the gearbox system for STLA-make EDMs

Major Responsibilities- Act as a project manager and technical lead for automatic transmission applications- Support current production EMEA and LATAM markets using the 948TE transmission (~10 vehicle families)- Lead engineering design/development activities for Promaster Van applications utilizing the 948TE - Champion, author, and review DFMEA/DVP&R related activities- Guide and direct cross-functional areas where appropriate: calibration, software, hardware design, hardware development, systems, functional safety, diagnostics- DFSS greenbelt in progress- In-depth powertrain data analysis (trans, driveline, engine)- Frequent presentations and face-time with senior/execute level management

Hardware development and Calibration/Software validation for FCA 9 Speed FWD and 8 Speed RWD transmissions. -Create, execute, and document validation activities (DVP&R)- Root cause transmission/driveline issues from warranty, internal quality, and any need through vehicle development

Clutch control calibration - PRND related shift control

Short duration employment with AVL acting as a transmission calibration engineer for various clients - primarily ZF and FCA.

On assignment with Chrysler 948TE transmission calibration team (Chelsea Proving Grounds) Responsible for all shift strategy calibration for 2.4L Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X Experienced with all levels of vehicle launch – from early mule builds to post production Planned and participatedon calibration trips including hot testing, altitude, off-road development, and Vehicle Integration support Skilled with in-depth data analysis and root cause investigation Coached new engineers with a focus on data supported statements and vehicle system competency

• Contract engineer assigned to Chrysler Group, LLC in Auburn Hills, MIProvided system level hardware and software validation for the Chrysler 62TE transmission. Experienced with data collection and analysis, test trip support, and technical troubleshooting of transmission hardware failures and calibration/controls.

Part time work-study at Kettering University while finishing up bachelor degree. Support technician and engine lab director with engine dyno cell and SAE machine shop activities.

Product Engineering - FIAT500 Instrument Panel (IP)Provide engineering/test support of the Fiat 500 instrument panel and center console. This included internal database and DVP&R support, interfacing with Chrysler engineers, and organizing testing/fabrication as needed on the program. Product Engineering - GMX351 Instrument Panel (2013 Chevy Malibu)Worked with Faurecia suppliers to provide validation parts for testing as well as vehicle builds. Interfaced with supplier as well as OEM engineers and was exposed to IP design and composite plastic manufacturing. Organized testing/fabrication as needed on the program.

Fuel Systems Component GroupProvided overall engineering support.In-depth exposure to general engine design, manufacture, and testing. Much of this focus was on the common rail fuel systems used on the Cummins ISB and ISC series engines (3.9L to 8.3L).Captured and processed engine fuel system data.Created reference material for engineering use.

Continuous Improvement DepartmentAssisted with the implementation of 5S and other Lean concepts into the manufacturing work environment. In spare time, collaborated with other departments to aid in data collection for solar cells. Developed a Lean Simulation for employee training use.
