I was raised in the construction and development industry and have 40 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction and development throughout the United States. My executive management experience includes developing warehouses, strip shopping centers, free-standing pharmacies, small box retailers, residential multi-family and recreational vehicle parks. My construction experience includes designing and building warehouses, showrooms, strip shopping centers, and single tenant projects, manufacturing facilities, car dealerships and office buildings.From free standing buildings to remodels, tilt wall structures to pre-engineered metal buildings, no project has been too big or too small for my highly capable team. We consistently deliver a quality project on time and within budget.Specialties: Pre-assemblage, financing, economic analysis and tenant negotiations on developing warehouse and retail shopping center projects.     River Vista Mountain Village is located between Clayton, Georgia and Highlands and Franklin, North Carolina. River Vista sits in a beautiful valley surrounded by the Smoky Mountains to the east and Blue Ridge Mountains to the west. Picnic tables and meditation benches are located along the banks of Slick Rock Creek and Mud Creek, which border the Resort to the east and southeast. Our clubhouse offers a full kitchen, TV and reading area, card/game tables, computer stations, fitness room, and rocking chairs and checkers tables on the front porch facing Little Estatoah Falls in the Smoky Mountains. Our heated pool and spa are located at the main pavilion which also features a large fireplace, picnic tables, and restroom facilities. River Vista offers full hook-ups at all RV sites including cable TV and telephone. In addition to RV sites we rent fully furnished luxury lodge style cabins that sleep 4 to 6 people.

    I started Scherer Construction in 1984 and oversaw marketing and branch office construction operations throughout the Southeastern United States. In 1988, I opened Gainesville/Ocala, FL office and established a foothold in a future growth market. In 1992, we established offices in Orlando, FL and in 1996, Atlanta/Macon, GA.During my tenure, I have been responsible for design/build retail warehouse and specialty projects including car washes, marinas, cold storage facilities, theme parks and sports facilities. I’m also responsible for pre-assemblage, financing, economic analysis and tenant negotiations on developing warehousing and retail shopping center projects.
