Dr. Corinna Lathan is a neuroscientist, technology pioneer, and social advocate, and is the author of a best-selling book, Inventing the Future, Stories from a Techno-Optimist. She is co-founder of AnthroTronix, a tech innovation firm, and led it as CEO for 22 years. Dr. Lathan serves on multiple boards and committees, and is an Independent Director of PTC, Inc., a global technology provider of Internet of Things and Augmented Reality platforms, and an Independent Director of Ekso Bionics, a pioneer in the field of robotic exoskeletons, or wearable robots.Dr. Lathan is also a leader and public speaker on technology trends that impact business, health and healthcare, education and entrepreneurship.  She is a social advocate for STEM (Science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education, global health, and LGBTQ+ issues and serves on several not-for-profit boards including the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation, the KID Museum, and Engineering World Health. Dr. Lathan received a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Biopsychology and Mathematics and then went on to earn an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from MIT.
