Worked in the Video Processing Infrastructure Group.Led multiple cross-functional projects like• Rearchitecting and migrating Youtube Live Archivals to the next-generation framework• Designing and implementing a way to transcode multiple audio output formats efficiently in a single service• Rearchitecting the way streaming inputs are consumed by services in the Video Processing Framework.Designed and implemented• A way to transmux progressive formats from dash formats through simple header manipulations• A filtering service to reduce, filter or manipulate the inputs to a service based on pre-defined rules• A service to implement policy decisions early in the video processing pipeline, eliminating the need for running many redundant services in the graph.Worked on the ramp-up of Youtube Live Archivals and Youtube TV DVR on the VOD Pipeline. Wrote a new service that retrieves the Youtube Live media chunks and metadata in real time from a central database, stitches them and streams them downstream for processing in the VOD pipeline.

Designed and Implemented clustering for Riverbed's Linux-based Steelhead Mobile Controllers (SMCs). This required clustering together all the SMCs in a given deployment to provide failover protection, and enable sharing of configuration, settings, packages, reports and licenses. Designed custom purpose-built network protocols for database syncing and failover protection.Designed and Implemented License Failover feature for SMCs. This feature enabled SMCs in the network to temporarily serve/disburse the licenses that a failed SMC was responsible for, based on a distributed algorithm.Visited various customers to deploy and test Steelhead Mobile at the customer site in production, for Alpha and Beta Testing.
