I have been teaching at Eagle's Landing High School for over 16 years. During that time, I have taught a variety of subjects, including Health, Physical Education, and Social Studies. I currently teach both Advanced Placement and college prep World History as well as Advanced Placement Human Geography. Additionally, I have been very active in Eagle’s Landing athletics. I served as athletic director for 5 years, as well as the head coach of both the cross country and track teams. As athletic director, ELHS won the Region Athletic Director Cup twice. This award recognizes the top athletic program in the region. I was honored as Regional Athletic Director of the Year three times, and I was a finalist for Georgia Athletic Director of the Year in 2011. Teams I coached have won 26 region championships and have finished in the top 10 of the state meet over 30 times. Individually, ELHS athletes I have coached have earned hundreds of county, region, state, and national championships. Many have set state and/or national high school records in the process. Over 100 student-athletes have gone on to compete in cross country and track and field collegiality. Seven of those athletes have competed at the NCAA Division 1 Championships with five becoming All-Americans. Several former athletes have run professionally and have even qualified for the US National Team and the Olympic games. I am currently completing my Masters in Advanced Studies at the American College of Education.
