With over a 30 years of experience in short-term rental property management and a passion for creating memorable vacation experiences, I serve as the COO for STR Tucson and STR California. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in hospitality, I spent countless hours at my grandparents' bed and breakfast, the Cyrus Rexford House, in our 200-year-old Victorian home in Rexford, New York. My grandfather’s passion for hosting and engaging with guests left a lasting impression on me, fostering my deep appreciation for the art of hospitality.My travels across Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, and Austria during my teens further enriched my understanding of authentic old-world hospitality. After earning my degree from the University of Utah in 1993, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, West Africa, and then moved to Boston to work with Homebase Abroad, specializing in luxury vacation rentals across Europe, including castles and Renaissance villas in Tuscany, southern Spain, Austria, and the south of France.My background also includes over 20 years of renovating historic properties and leading dynamic teams, which has established strong connections with top professionals in the local trade community. Today, I leverage this diverse background to elevate the vacation rental experience in Tucson and California, ensuring every guest’s stay is not just comfortable but unforgettable.
