A.S.O. is one of the leading sporting events owners and organizers - with more than 90 events across 20 countries worldwide. From event creation/acquisition, over commercial development to full event delivery, A.S.O. has become one of the most renowned specialists in out-of-stadium sports. Its key historic properties include the Tour de France, the Dakar Rally and the Paris Marathon, whose development goes in pair with expanding its global event portfolio and identifying business opportunities internationally.As Head of Strategy & Business Development, my roles includes the following:- Define and implement A.S.O.'s global business development strategy across all sports (cycling, motor sports, mass participation, golf, sailing) and territories - Expand A.S.O.'s portfolio worldwide through company or event acquisitions, set up of joint ventures, creation of fully owned events and sale of turnkey event concepts/expertise – 70 new events across 20 countries over the past 7 years- Responsible for the overall cycling strategy (including business, political and innovation aspects) within A.S.O. with direct reporting to the General Management and Board of Directors- Manage a team of 20 international business development managers and project managers across all territories and overview key project deliveries worldwide- Key responsibility and advisory positions in international subsidiaries or joint ventures of A.S.O., including Human Race (London), RPM-MKTG (Barcelona) and Unipublic (Madrid) and roles as General Manager and Director in Norway and Germany

- Define and overview the key (strategic and financial) business development activities within A.S.O. (including the international development of the Tour de France)- Implement and develop the international network and subsidiaries of A.S.O. (e.g. recent acquisitions of Human Race or Deutschland Tour, joint ventures in Spain with RPM or in the USA/Germany with AEG, Chinese partnership with Activation Group…)- Act as a strategic advisor to the General Management of A.S.O. for key strategic decisions across all business units and sports (e.g. professional cycling reform, the positioning of the Dakar…)- Managing a business unit of 12 people and project teams of up to 700 staff on key events, including internal experts, external service providers and international partners

- Responsible for major sports business projects in France and internationally (e.g. Tour de France Saitama/Shanghai Criteriums, Arctic Race of Norway, Paris Triathlon, Tour de Yorkshire, ROC d’Azur, Amgen Tour of California, The Mud Day, L'Etape TDF Series…)- Manage the entire event creation/acquisition process from project identification to event delivery: concept definition, project assessment, business plan creation, negotiation with stakeholders, event management, internal integration, management reporting, continual improvement…- Act as Event Manager and coordinate multiple (internal and external) stakeholders in a challenging and highly multicultural environment (with projects in 20 countries)- Define the business unit’s strategy and financial reporting for the General Management
