After launching my early career in sourcing and supply chain leadership for the retail industry, I have had the opportunity to build on that experience to now include designing innovative new retail concepts, building multimillion-dollar brands, and driving expansion into new international markets. Examples of my recent career highlights include:► Building six new brands for Central Retail to penetrate the growth market in Vietnam to become the largest foreign-owned retailer in the country, delivering US$80M+ in annual revenue. ► Developing a new retail concept for Transretail that became a first-to-market model for hypermarkets in Asia. ► Driving 200% revenue growth for Supply Chain Retail LTD by expanding into new international markets including Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.► Growing sales from US$1.3M to over US$17M and driving global expansion into Europe, Australia, and North America as managing director for Kungao, a full-service fashion design and manufacturing company. To complement my hands-on work, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in international business management and computer information systems from Hawaii Pacific University. I was brought in to help lead the transition of 95 Carrefour locations into the Transretail brand after CT Corp’s acquisition of the equity in Indonesia. This transition included designing a new brand, customer flow, interior design, and merchandise mix for the new hypermarket concept store before a nationwide rollout. This new concept store became a revolutionary retail model for hypermarkets in Asia because of its unique customer experience, eye-catching building design, and high-quality brands not usually available in this retail channel. DELIVERED RESULTS:► Participated in the total company $1.7B in annual revenue generation.► Opened 20 new locations after launching and testing the initial concept store.► Built out a central bakery to supply 30+ locations across greater Jakarta reducing CAPEX by 70% through greater purchasing power and reduced staff costs. ► Owned a new wine category for the retail market that grew to $5M in new annual revenue. -
