Visual Artist
CurrentClaude K. Mogét is the pseudonym for my Visual Arts practice beyond Design & Professional Branding Work. (Formerly known as Fruity Goods). I am a Queer and Trans artist interested in dismantling colonialist and patriarchal ideals of fine art by exploring and blurring the boundaries of Queer Aesthetics, Fine Art, and socalled Low Art/Craft. By intentionally making art that is accessible to people who are not wealthy art collectors, I seek to empower myself and other marginalized artists as not only the creators, but also as the consumers who play a valuable role in driving the market we are working within. Some highlights of my artistic career: • Had work shown and sold in 10+ professional, curated exhibitions• Curated and executed a multi-media Fine Art Exhibition, “Organic”, featuring carefully selected young Indianapolis Artists, in Union City, Ohio • Designed marketing materials, logos, brand guides, and more through a collaborative creative process for dozens of small businesses and solo entrepreneurs/creators- Vended at dozens of art fairs and craft shows- Published an article on Creative Community Building through Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation / Channel Kindness Project- Participated in numerous fundraising projects in which my artwork sales proceeds went to charitable causes- Own and Operate an online shop, www.fruitygoods.net
