Over the years, I had to :- manage teams of hardware and software developers.- hands-on hardware, software and architecture development work- establish, manage and executed the certification of the hardware components of the solutions.- create the over arching architecture of various product lines, including standalone products as well as cloudified software solutions (Saas).- maintain and validate the delivery schedules.- select and hire new employee.- manage the R&D budget.- establish the overall company solution strategy.- monitor the industry evolution, both at the business level and technological level, through customer meeting, conference/workshop participation as well as self education on the Internet.- communicate with industry peer at workshops and other events.- meet customers helping the sales force as well as presenting long term strategies.- participated in 2 company acquisitions.More recently, the focus of my work is on the strategy related to long term evolution of the company. Basically, strategy thinking.
