Worked as an associate for noted trial attorney Vasilios B. Choulos until he made me a partner and started Choulos Choulos & Wyle. Together with Mr. Choulos, and his eldest son George V. Choulos, we have represented those harmed by the wrongful conduct of individuals, corporations, and public entities. I was lucky to have started working for Mr. Choulos as soon as he separated from his partner of many years, Melvin Belli. Working for Vasilios Choulos and later as his partner has been richly rewarding to me and has helped me thrive in this most competitive and aggressive of professions. Mr. Choulos instilled in me a strong sense of ethics and the idea that the client always comes first. Mr. Choulos came from a generation where a handshake deal was a bond you could rely upon. And he also was usually the smartest guy in the room, with both the greatest wisdom and the greatest "Gravitas".

Staff clerk and research assistant for the Honorable Ira Brown, Law and Motion Judge for San Francisco Superior Court. Working for this very well respected judge in this very busy court was one of my greatest professional experiences. Judge Brown was one of the smartest people I have ever met and, despite his conservative background, he was always fair and impartial to all those who appeared before him. And he had a great sense of humor.
