Caring for nine children with ages ranging between 6 months and 4 yearsSetting up the childcare environment whilst adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and policiesTaking on extra responsibilities in the absence of the Deputy Manager, being in sole charge of the children, providing guidance to the assistant and dealing with parent queriesSupporting the children by providing the optimum care and supervision with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual requirementsEnsuring all children receive equal opportunities with regard to religion, race, gender, culture and abilitiesDevising appropriate activities and play to aid learning whilst following the EYFS CurriculumAttend parent meetings to provide feedback and updates on the children’s development

Providing care to a 10-month-old boy, ensuring opportunities for play and accompanying the child to playgroups, swim classes, play dates and music classesCompleting the daily diary to keep a record of his developmentPlanning the weekly meals and preparing healthy dishes while incorporating new textures, food groups and tastes to encourage a varied diet

Starting in a part-time position and becoming full-time following the birth of the second childSupporting the social and educational development of the two children within a busy householdProviding a safe and structured environment to support the development of the ChildrenOverseeing school schedules, extra-curricular activities and play group visitsAccompany the family on trips a couple of weeks a year and in sole charge of the children with travelling to Sweden on a number of occasions
