Programme Objective:to transfer a substantial part of the business activities of RBS NV to RBS plc. Responsibilities included revision analysis of a large portfolio of Loan & Security documentation and assisting in development of due diligence policies and procedures .Review and coordinate with legal counsel (internal and external) amendments to existing legal documentation and future proofing for legal documentation (prior to signing) .Liaising with multiple areas of RBS (including Legal, Tax, Finance, Front Office, Middle Office Loan Closers and Back Office across the EMEA region and Americas) and regularly reporting with recommendations for action to Senior Management during Executive Working Group conferences. Focused on leading the Team, supervising their work, tracking progress/milestones and reporting into PMO. Able to actively participate in, and lead workshops with different stakeholders. Contributed to mitigate and monitor risk until conclusion of the project.

Senior Bank Debt Loans Operations Division (Fixed Income): Administration of extensive, complex loan portfolio for major GS clients (secondary market, New Issue, asset servicing, corporate actions) which involved :Daily management of large portfolio of primary/secondary Loans - syndicated and bilateral deals. Servicing functions included rollovers, fees processing, interest calculation/processing/payments, drawdowns, paydowns, calculation and administration of collaterals (including cash collaterals for RVL facilities), administration of PIK loans , processing of trade claims submitted to Winding-Up Board . Liaising with Borrowers, Agent banks, subparts, MO loan Closers, Docs Team, and external service providers and investigating issues/discussing resolution with Finance.Preparing daily reports for Senior Management. Checking inconsistencies on reports provided by traders and investigate the cause in order in order to promptly resolve issue.Preparation of pricing letters (including calculation of CoC, DC, paydowns, new funding etc.) . Liaising with external trading counterparties/internal partners to resolve/escalate issues and coordinate settlement efforts.Daily trades settlement (secondary market & New Issue).Daily investigation and resolution of P&L and transfer documentation related issues.Providing constant support to our team associates in the US and in India.Regular review of the loan agreements and related collaterals documentation including fortnightly review of restructuring loans in the pipeline in conjunction with our Legal, Docs and MO teams. As a Senior Associate I have also voluntarily taken part in several projects designed to provide new automated operational infrastructure, to reduce risk and to improve operational efficiency (including acting as the main liaison point and meeting coordinator between ClearPar and back office). Testing on parallel system .

Secondary Market Loan Transfers - Third Party Transfers - (Agency):Responsible for the processing of trades carried out between members of the syndicate group (DB acting as Agent). Responsibilities included reviewing the relevant legal documentation, interpreting credit information and validate transfer documentation.Liaising with the Borrower to obtain consent to transfer and with trading counterparts to resolve issues and negotiate a mutually acceptable settlement date. This role also involved effective communications and an understanding of working in a high risk area as well as the controls required to manage this risk together with providing support to our London, Birmingham, NY, and Bangalore Teams.

Handling and supervising all aspects of currency position keeping, position reconciliation/investigation and cash forecasting. Daily management of syndicated and bilateral servicing activities.

Managing the Loan Servicing Team Activities. Responsible for building a new team and instigating new target sets and controls. Initiated new communication procedures with FO , including regular monthly meetings and the production of weekly reports of deals in the pipeline.

Reviewing loan agreements, facility letters and guarantees. Preparing Credit proposals for Senior Management . Liaising with Agents and Clients and responsible for the preparation of periodic reports to be submitted to Head Office in Naples and to Bank of Italy.
