Oversee newly formed division within Tufts Support Services, a shared Human Resources Operations and Financial Transactions Operations Center, to continuously improve services to the Tufts community. Manage strategic and cross-functional initiatives to (re)engineer business processes to achieve organizational goals and efficiency while increasing customer satisfaction.Manage the development, implementation, and roll out of training on business processes, policies, and systems. - Oversee the development and implementation of business processes to support Tufts activities abroad, including, but not limited to, international employee management (on-boarding, benefits, training, off-boarding), ensure compliance with local law, establish banking and procurement procedures, and develop process that allows Tufts to quickly respond to opportunities abroad. Conduct training for Tufts staff on requirements for operating abroad. Serve as first point of contact to respond to incidents involving international staff- Oversee International Health and Safety for Tufts Travelers (Students, Staff, Faculty): Developed and currently maintaining the Tufts International Travel Safety Policy, conduct proactive risk assessments to high-risk areas, oversee all training for travelers, oversee emergency management of all international incidents. Developed and currently managing the Tufts Travel Registry. Manage 1 professional staff.- Co-developed and co-taught the Global Service Learning Course at the Tufts School for Dental Medicine, a blended course of online modules and in-class sessions to prepare dental students to conduct service learning project abroad- Utilize my M.S. in Instructional Design to continuously develop synchronous and asynchronous training materials. I am proficient in the use of content development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and SnagIt. I am further experienced in managing Learning Management systems, in particular Moodle, Blackboard, and Sakai.

Oversee all international safety and compliance related issues faced by Tufts University and serve as primary ressource for all university-related travel:- provide ongoing support, education and training to students, faculty and staff to build an international safety and compliance awareness program- development, design and implementation of an intranetnet site for international travel including health and safety, compliance as well intercultural sensitivity awareness modules

Manage all travel operations for the EF Foundation high school exchange program for students from over 30 different countries. - Oversee quality of students travel arrangements- Provide risk assessment, design, implement and train staff on emergency procedures and protocol- Oversee multiple aspects of marketing and production of short-term educational tours for exchange students within the US- Manage a team of 3 Flights Managers in the Boston office and 15 independent contractors at major airports in the US

Helping international high school students having a great year in the US while supporting volunteer host families and our on-site field coordinators. Lead a team of 30 independent contractors in 4 US States to resolve all issues with aproximately 300 foreign exchange while maintaining 100% compliant with the requirements set forth by the US Department of State. Advised exchange students and host families on adjustment issues, culture shock as well monitored student safety and wellbeing throughout the exchange. Actively participated in strategy to develop my region to its highest potential and ensure the best program quality.Corresponded and work with colleagues in 25 countries around the world to ensure rapid resolution of customer issues.Write monthly newsletter for all host families and local coordinators. Tracked all orientations (welcome and re-entry) for students and host families. Collect, review and provide feedback on monthly field staff reports.

Taught beginner-level German courses (German 111 and 112). Supervised 1 Teaching Assistant. Facilitated info sessions about study abroad options in Germany and helped with recruitment initiatives for study abroad program within the department. Evaluated the Teaching Assistant position and implemented necessary changes to improve work capacity and professional fulfillment while integrating the TA position better into the department.

Administered the ERASMUS (europe-wide exchange prorgam) at the University of Bayreuth:Advisded students on how to idenitfy the destination and institution to fit their academic ambitions and needs. Guided students through the application process and administed funding throughout the exchange. Planned and execuited pre-departure and re-entry orientations, advising sessions and recruitment initiatives.Served as a ressource throughout the exchange. Tracked paperwork and transcripts after the exchange was completed in alliance with the various academic departments to ensure credits were transferred. Collected and analyzed study abroad evaluations to increase student satisfaction and overall program quality.Also administered staff exchange within the ERASMUS program.
