Compagnie De Bofoo is a brand new touring physical theatre company, currently completing it's inaugural fringe tour of devised show, Albert Shoe in Widescreen. We are a self-managed non-profit organisation made up of four core members (including myself) who devise, produce, promote and (currently) administrate all of our work ourselves. We are currently unfunded / self funded. However, we aim to develop our company over the next year and beyond, embarking on a second tour in the Spring of 2011, raising funds for Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011 and seeking a resident UK theatre. We are aiming to make contacts in the fringe theatre and arts communities: from producers and venues to potential collaborators, technicians, set designers, photographers and more.

for Patchwork, a performance by The Honourable Society of Faster Craftswomen (theatre company). Working independently and on a voluntary basis, I was responsible for the general administration of the project. My duties included: Arranging company meetings and one to one progress review sessions with other company members and contributors. Seeking out and organising suitable and affordable rehearsal space.Assisting with Marketing including the design of labels for posters and flyers and initiating online marketing via social networking sites. Running various errands to acquire set and technical equipment with respect of budget. Providing technical support during performances and press nights including operating sound and lighting desks during shows.Stage managing performances alongside the show's Director and In-House Technician.Blogger Intern for The Honourable Society of Faster Craftswomen. Working remotely, I was expected to: Independently research experimental theatre work and art of all disciplines including web-based work e.g. progress blogs, video and audio material.Stimulate interest in The Honourable Society of Faster Craftswomen and act as a representative of the company. Seek out and interact with as many artistic groups, communities and individuals as possible.Write short reviews as well as producing reflective writing and drawing based on my research.
