Examined and selected materials to digitize from the Cornell LGBT Coalition records, a collection tracing the history of Cornell’s LGBTQ+ student organizations from 1968 through 1999. Compiled metadata for the selected documents. In collaboration with the Rare and Manuscript Collection, supported by a Cornell Library Grant Program for Digital Collections in Arts and Sciences. Advised by Dr. Stephen Vider.

Curated a case on prison labor for an exhibition at Cornell University’s Division of Rare and Manuscripts Collection. Made selections as to what will be displayed and wrote the text that is included in the exhibition and on the website. Worked in a curatorial team, and with conservation and digitization services to prepare materials for exhibition. Advised by Marcie Farwell.

Interpreted between English and Spanish on an as-needed basis for Cornell Law School's various clinics. Most experience with immigration cases.

Monitored the regular meeting of the organization and of the Executive Board. Represented the PRSA in student activities and administrative matters and served as liaison to other student organizations. Created and submitted budgets on a semesterly basis.

Conducted original historical research, attended weekly cohort meetings, and presented at annual regional conferences. Produced a 40-page research project.

Assessed the Museum’s online Latinx presence and targeted areas for improvement. Conducted research to prepare for upcoming anniversary commemorations. Research and content creation for the “Latinas talk Latinas” web series.Mentor: Magdalena Mieri

Met weekly with a small cohort and worked independently to construct a small online exhibition that contextualized a selection of archival materials and highlighted students’ perspectives on the historic events of the 1993 Day Hall Takeover.

Chaired the Diversity Committee and met on an as-needed basis with administrators and staff concerning diversity initiatives. Ensured that legislative acts of the Student Assembly were culturally inclusive. Provided updates on the state of diversity at Cornell and work to align the Student Assembly with University initiatives.

Represented the undergraduate student population. Dealt with quality-of-life issues relating to undergraduate students, making sure that student concerns are heard and addressed. Held regular office hours for constituents.

Searched digital archives and existing websites to build a dataset of information on the manosphere, focusing on its effect on violence against women and connections with white supremacy; supervised by Dr. Mariel Barnes. Coded survey data to quantify the barriers to women’s meaningful participation in United Nations peacekeeping work; supervised by Drs. Sabrina Karim and Roya Izadi.

Translated educational materials (English/Spanish) and added captions to YouTube videos (Spanish) to make museum materials more accessible. Managed a weekly creative writing workshop for 15 community members.

Participated in training seminars that cultivated leadership skills and professional development. Networked with preeminent Latinx scholars and leaders.

Co-founded and managed a tutoring program for the children and grandchildren, ages 2-10, of La Casita beneficiaries. Organized sessions, including age-appropriate activities for different age ranges. Managed schedules and tasks for over 20 volunteers.
