I have been in Information Technology for over 20 years, starting from an entry-level mainframe testing position to managing a multi-million dollar portfolio. While I have certainly enjoyed rolling up my sleeves to set-up and execute mainframe testing, what I have most enjoyed is being a Visionary – providing strategy and direction. I believe in fostering an environment where my direct reports feel empowered and enabled to reach their potential; thereby realizing successfully-implemented processes and projects. To that end, I continually striving to improve on existing processes or develop new ones that will drive efficiencies. It means constantly questioning and respectfully challenging situations. In my career, I have been able to effectively network in order to gain valuable experience in the company. I firmly believe that networking is one of the best ways to understand individuals and their environments and I have greatly benefited from these interactions.I am also a huge proponent of Employee Engagement and am very involved in those efforts currently as the local Site Champion, as well as having been selected to several committees within the Bank that have had Executive-level exposure. Employees need to feel that they are a part of something great and I am very proud to be a contributor in that area.
