Have lived andworked for 8 years in China, Singapore and India and go back to Asia regularly.The lynchpin for what I do is culture. I am fascinated by differences in culture and at the same timeby the power of a strong working culture to bring us together. More recently I have become increasingly interested in and involved with some of the newer forms of organizational culture,such as agile cultures, cultures with self-managed teams, cultures of innovation etc.A current project of mine bringing questions of national and organizational culture together is to research if and how the view and practices of what a “culture of innovation” involves is different in China from how we see it in, for example, Germany.
