Leading the development and implementation of a procurement approach, strategies, plans and programs to enable the achievement of the City’s strategic deliverables and plans including sustainability/ environmental, social and ethical procurement objectives, as well as other related regulatory obligations, through the City’s procurement and contracting activities.

I established the Procurement team in March 2019. I am responsible for working in partnership with our stakeholders across the business to achieve ‘value for money’ (commercial and non-commercial) from THE ICONIC’s indirect spend, identifying and mitigating risks whilst supporting company initiatives and objectives. Responsibilities• I lead the Procurement function, mentoring, motivating and developing the capability of the Procurement team• I am part of the senior leadership team, a member of the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) working group and Modern Slavery working group• I set and administer the Procurement framework and strategy, and provide training materials that support our team members’ knowledge of the framework• I work closely with other teams including Risk, Legal and Sustainability to support business objectives and manage key risks• I am the driver of supplier diversity within our indirect supply chain, devising the strategy and process to support• I strategically review categories of spend and suppliers to develop insights and formulate a plan of action to maximise value• I act as a trusted advisor to the business on best practice Procurement, from end-to-end procurement process through to contract/ supplier management, providing support that uplifts organisational procurement capability• I drive value through commercial savings and additional value add through processes including RFI’s, RFP’s RFQ’s, direct negotiations • I capture the commercial (savings) and non-commercial value add that Procurement have influenced and report quarterly• I co-lead and support the tender process for indirect goods and services above an expenditure threshold; or where key risks have been identified; or where lower value purchases hold strategic importance or are of a complex nature; contract term is longer than 2 years; or otherwise require Procurement’s expertise• I provide tools and templates that cover simple-to-complex Procurement activity

Managed the Baby category which included baby food, formula and toiletries, setting the strategic direction of the category with P&L accountability.

Manage the end to end procurement process for indirect spend across the Logistics, Support Services and Marketing categories

Category managing the global sourcing of a secondary manufacturing material (Baling wire), Office Supplies/ Stationery Products and Uniforms. Providing Project / Category Analysis for strategically sourced Materials and Indirect categories.
