Passive seismic methods offer an unparalleled advantage in monitoring subsurface physical processes with a high degree of precision and accuracy across varying time scales. My research aims to revolutionize this field by utilizing cutting-edge computational power to enhance common analysis techniques and ingeniously combine them to eliminate any potential biases and extract the most reliable results possible. My tools of choice are the simulation of elastic wave propagation in heterogeneous media and waveform-based and ambient noise based methods, which have been successfully applied in deep geothermal reservoirs in both Mexico and Germany. By leveraging the latest advances in technology and methodology, my research promises to uncover valuable insights into subsurface physical processes that were previously beyond reach.
