Publisher and cultural manager. For the last 25 years, I have been reading manuscripts, correcting galleys, translating English-language fiction and non-fiction works and holding different jobs in publishing and cultural management, primarily for non-fiction imprints, specialising in social sciences, humanities, history and philosophy. Social networks, digital media, digital heritage and their impact on the cultural and creative sectors are one of my areas of expertise. Given my extended experience in the publishing sector, I started my own imprint together with my partner Joan Eloi Roca, and so Ático de los Libros was born in January 2010 (www.aticodeloslibros.com). We publish literature and essay and are interested in exciting new or contemporary classic literary works. Later on, we developed our mainstream list, Principal (www.principaldeloslibros.com), as well as a YA list, Wonderbooks (www.wonderbooks.es), a sci-fi/fantasy imprint, Oz (www.ozeditorial.com) and a well-being, lifestyle and health imprint, Kitsune (www.kitsunebooks.org). As of now, Grupo Ático publishes around 100 new titles per year. We also founded an alliance of independent publishers focused on offering the best educational experience in the Spanish publishing sector called Taller de los Libros (www.tallerdelibros.com). I have written four books: three historical novels set in the XIIth century, "La dama y el león", "La tierra de Dios", and "La perla negra". Recently, "Historia de una flor", set in the XIXth century, has been published. All of them can be found at Ediciones B / Penguin Random House. Translation from English and French into Spanish is another of my favoured activities. I am very proud to have translated "My Life" by President Bill Clinton, "Living History" by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and "The Audacity of Hope" by President Barack Obama.
