This role is based in a prestigious and award winning events & hospitality venue hosting galadinners, corporate receptions, conferences, meetings and show cases. There are 7 eventsspaces and a further 8 small meeting rooms. I work within a small team reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager on a regular bases. My main duties and responsibilities include: To be responsible for sales administration To take and confirm bookings To produce weekly enquiry sheet summary To follow up on enquiries To conduct sales calls To accurately raise invoices To conduct show rounds To work on exhibition stands and other promotional activities To maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients To contribute to social media updates and newsletter content

Old Royal Naval College

Within this role I was dedicated to making my clients dreams a reality. Working with strict budgets and high expectations this role included a lot of client management. Main responsibilities of my role included, but were not limited to:• Being the dedicated wedding planner and the teams point of contact for this department• Taking care of marketing for the wedding department including managing all online listings, competition entries, social media and interactive content – creating a dedicated wedding social media page (gaining 600 followers in under 6months), increasing sales and revenue by over 50% from previous year• Creating and updating marketing calendar, scheduling all posts and advertisements• Assisting and presenting marketing budgets, presenting new business opportunities• Being the main point of contact for the couples and clients from initial enquiry through to event day• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and agents• Conducting show rounds for engaged couples and families to guide them through their dreams wedding at the venue. Creating unique and personal gifts and experiences for couples and families• Arrange and deliver seasonal showcases and achieving targeted ROI• Keeping up to date with industry and business marketing trends• Hosting weekly in depth event meetings with detailed event sheets for all departments and suppliers• Organising post event evaluations

Marlow

My main role at Crowne Plaza Marlow was to arrange the Christmas events at the hotel, however I did coordinate other events at the hotel. In my role I am responsible for handling large amounts of money whilst meeting targets and Key Performance Indicators to strict deadlines. It is also important in my role that I have strong communication with the clients and my team, ensuring that high expectations are met and individual requirements are executed.

Winchester

I had to compete against others for a week, campaigning my ideas to the student body to gain their vote. I was successful in elections and was privileged to be elected into the role of Entertainments officer at Winchester University. I am currently organising a variety of events to accommodate all of the students. Events have included two weeks of freshers, breaking university records of succession on events, more than once. The next big project is arranging the highlight event of the year the Summer Ball.

Winchester

I was selected by lecturers to represent my course on open days. My role is to publicly speak to perspective students inspire them to consider Winchester as their selected uni. Through this role I have gained public speaking skills, persuading future students to chose Winchester as their selected University.From this I also take part in the interview process for the selected students, where I interact with them on their interview day and be there to answer any questions which may arise.
