Leading business and strategy development for the not-for-profit think tank Policy Connect, including the analysis of new markets and income streams to inform the organisation's business model. Driving business development, including in new sectors and through new income streams and novel contractual arrangements, to deliver the business plan.

Interim leadership of the not-for-profit think tank Policy Connect in its mission to develop new policy ideas through evidence and collaboration in accordance with its core values to achieve Policy Connect’s vision of better public policy through research, events and campaigns.

Providing overall strategic direction and operational leadership to the not-for-profit think tank Policy Connect, its Chief Executive and its Board of Directors. Managing and improving the organisation’s administrative, financial and human resource functions to best serve the achievement of the organisation’s vision and business objectives, including through business development and diversification of income sources; development, oversight and implementation of annual business plans and budgets; design and oversight of the appraisal system, staff performance and learning and development programme; external audit; ensuring regulatory compliance, including data protection and reporting to and advising the board of non-executive Directors. Strategic oversight of the sustainability-themed work of the not-for-profit think tank Policy Connect, including programmes targeted at influencing national and international policy on circular economy, sustainable resources, low-carbon energy, climate change and sustainable infrastructure. Directly managing a team of six and providing strategic direction and thought leadership as well as overseeing the financial performance and business development strategy of the team.

Developing and delivering a programme of in-depth discussion events, independent research inquiries and other analysis at the not-for-profit think tank Policy Connect to collectively engage businesses, civil servants, parliamentarians, academia and the third sector in policy analysis and new policy development. Particular focus on policy areas around sustainable infrastructure and the built environment and developing policy content as well as business partnerships. Line-managing researchers and occasional interns.

Supporting the charity Carbon Copy in its aim to inspire local action on the climate crisis. Ensuring that the charity has a clear vision, mission and strategic direction and complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Acting as guardian of the charity’s assets and making sure that governance and risk management are of the highest standard. Supporting Carbon Copy in becoming financially sustainable, through institutional fundraising and new revenue generation by working in partnership with other trustees and senior staff.

Supporting the organisation's aims of enhancing open, accountable and participatory international decision-making on sustainable development as part of the United Nation’s post-2015 development agenda and the development of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Supporting the Central Bank's strategic communication processes as an editorial assistant in the section external publications and Internet, including the drafting of press releases and their dissemination as well as assisting with the publication of reports, speeches, interviews and statements as well as statistical data. Integral part of a project to re-launch the organisation's website in May 2012.
