By creating portraits of adults with ADHD, I want to shine a light on the complexity of our neurodivergent brains to show our struggles as well as strengths. When confronted with major life changes in 2017, I made the decision to prioritize my mental health. During this transformative period, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Through my healing journey, I discovered a deep passion for helping others navigate similar challenges, culminating in becoming a certified life coach with an emphasis on ADHD. In this ongoing photography project titled "May I Have Your Attention," I combine my passion for photography and over a decade of working in the field with my first-hand experience with ADHD and knowledge I gained in my coaching education. I create colorful portraits of adults with ADHD in a photography session that goes beyond just taking photos. I feel very strongly about this project, because it’s so much bigger than me.
