When I propose a new programme, it has to go through thorough research to back up any proposed plans. In addition, I have to ensure it is appropriate and suitable for the festival’s theme. Being analytical allows me to access and interpret information on the internet as we cannot take them at face value. This allows me to develop more complex ideas. For example, when I researched the street dance scene in Singapore, I read about it in great detail, which allowed me to effectively comprehend the topic and develop a plan for a programme for the weekend to the team. This experience encouraged me to learn how to effectively handle my stress level and maintain professionalism.
