Claudia Lacy Kelly is the global practice leader of Spencer Stuart's Human Resources Practice. She brings more than 25 years of search experience to her role.Claudia has deep expertise in recruiting chief human resource officers across all industries and geographies. Claudia and the HR Practice also have extensive experience successfully executing all roles that report into the chief human resources officer (CHRO), including compensation and benefits, all dimensions of talent, as well as business unit and geographically focused business partners. In addition to HR, Claudia has experience running broad-scale global intelligence, leadership assessment and CEO succession projects.At various points in her Spencer Stuart career, Claudia has been chairman of the firm's strategy committee, chief of staff to the CEO, a member of the firm's management committee, manager of the Stamford office and the leader of the Financial Services and Asset Management practices in North America.Prior to entering the search field, Claudia was a senior engagement manager with McKinsey & Company, specializing in strategy and marketing for financial services and consumer companies.A graduate with honors from the University of Virginia, Claudia also holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University, where she was the Colgate-Palmolive Fellow. She has worked in the White House for President Gerald Ford and in the United States Senate on the staff of Senator Jacob K.
