Represent the italian counterpart in the Fondo Italo-Ecuatoriano (FIE), a binational organization established by Italy and Ecuador which finances development projects thanks to a debt conversion agreement. The FIE has founded a total of 115 projects in all Ecuador for a total of 34 million USD.•Supervision of the overall Program, including the management of projects through their entire cyle (form call for proposals, selection, contracting, implementation, to monitoring and evaluation of results).•Supervision and reporting on all financial aspects related to the Program and projects implementation.•Management of the FIE itself, including managment of a staff of 12 (both technical and support staff), management of the finances of the FIE (inlcuding providing advice on investment solutions for the Fund).•Design and supervision of the communication and outreach strategy.•Oversight of all reporting duties to the Parties.•Relate to a broad range of interlocutors from senior level officers to community leaders and benificiaries.

Supported projects appraisal, monitoring and implementation and assisted and advised implementing partners (Lebanese central and local authorities, local NGOs and UN agencies among others) on the execution of the programme funded by the Italian Cooperation.• Formulation of background documents, reports, strategic papers, as well as discussion and sector analysis papers (i.e. on Aid Effectiveness and donor coordination at country level). This analysis documents were geared to the identification of the areas of intervention and decision making on new projects.• Provide technical assistance and backstopping to projects with particular emphasis on monitoring and assisting the implementation of projects in favour of the Palestinian refugee population in Lebanon (overall funds of 7,8 million Euro in the last two years) and projects implemented in collaboration with UN agencies.• Project design, negotiation and finalization of agreements, establishing collaborative partnership with other stakeholders (donors, UN, local and international NGOs, ministries and municipalities);This included, follow –up on the status and progress of projects, ensuring timeliness implementation and overseeing the respect of the overall programme strategy. Preparation of guidelines for call for proposal, evaluation grid and proposal evaluation.
